Monarc created the MSCT (Micron, Staple Length, Curvature, Thermal Regulation) Cabrera method as a way to establish the quality of Monarc Vicuna fabrics. The MSCT means two very important things: Monarc Vicuna quality can be communicated in a universal language, and Monarc-buying consumers can know exactly what they are about to purchase.

The MSCT (Micron, Staple Length, Curvature, Thermal Regulation) score doesn’t just measure the finesse of the US Vicuna fibre (The fiber diameter measured in microns) but also staple length, curvature, thermal regulation, rarity and nature of the fibre.
